We are partnering with a Local Authority in Waltham Forest to assist with the appointment of a Benefits Assessment Officer on a 4.5-month contract, with a high likelihood of extension. If you have experience in processing Housing Benefit, Council Tax Support, and discretionary schemes, including Discretionary Housing Payments, we encourage you to apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Key Responsibilities:

* Accurately process all types of Housing Benefit, Council Tax Support, and discretionary schemes
* Utilize the Capita processing system and experience with document management systems, preferably Civicas Workflow 360
* Collaborate with the Local Authority to ensure seamless service delivery

Requirements:

* 4.5 months of experience in Benefits Assessment or a related field
* Proficiency in using the Capita processing system and document management systems
* Ability to work immediately or at short notice
* Right to work in the U.K
