Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Occupational Health Advisor to join our team at RPS Group. As a key member of our Occupational Health team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional services that meet the highest standards of clinical practice and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of occupational health services, including health surveillance, fitness for work assessments, and case management.
  • Mentor and guide a team of Occupational Health Advisors, promoting a culture of engagement and motivation.
  • Oversee the workflow and utilization of our occupational health nurse team, ensuring seamless operations.
  • Participate in commercial initiatives and cross-team collaborations to optimize resource utilization and workflow efficiency.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse on the NMC Register, holding a post-registration qualification in Occupational Health.
  • Experience in all aspects of OH service delivery, including health service delivery, fitness for work, and screening procedures.
  • Robust clinical governance attitude and ability to lead by example.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to chair regular team meetings.
  • Approachable style and ability to connect with colleagues and clients.
  • Pragmatic approach and strong decision-making ability.
  • Management qualification at certificate level or above desirable but not essential.
  • High degree of self-motivation and management.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Proficient IT skills, including MS Word, Excel, and Teams.
  • Strong team player and ability to lead by example.
