Estimation Specialist

As an Estimator at Acorn Engineering Ltd, you will be responsible for compiling estimates of the cost to provide clients with our maintenance services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze material and people costs needed to create competitive quotes
• Work with the sales and marketing team to provide updates on workload scheduling, progress, and priorities
• Liaise with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely and effective processing of enquiries
• Assist in the performance review and selection of specialist suppliers and sub-contractors
Requirements:
• A high level of technical and commercial ability
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Ability to work flexibly and observe all agreements, customs, and practices concerning interchangeability of jobs
