About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Customer Service Advisor to join our team at our Newcastle Central site. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding service to our customers, ensuring their vehicles are in safe hands, and supporting the smooth operation of our services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service, handling inquiries, complaints, and resolutions in a professional and timely manner.
  • Manage the entire customer journey, from initial contact to resolution, ensuring a seamless experience.
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls to the appropriate department, providing clear and concise information.
  • Regularly update customers on the progress of their vehicle repairs, maintaining open communication and transparency.
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area, ensuring a welcoming environment for customers.
  • Handle administrative tasks, such as filing paperwork and updating records, with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Ensure timely and efficient service to insurers and customers, meeting or exceeding service level agreements.
  • Keep computer systems and portals up-to-date with the latest information, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and customer-focused individual with excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude. The ideal candidate will have experience in a customer service role, with a strong ability to multitask and work independently as part of a team.

Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in person, over the phone, and via email.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to multitask in a busy environment.
  • Administrative experience and proficiency in MS Office and other computer systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Familiarity with the local Newcastle Central area is a plus.
