Portfolio is proud to be exclusively representing our award-winning, multinational HR services client in their search for a highly skilled HR Advisor to join their team. This unique HR Advisory role offers an exceptional opportunity for individuals at any level to gain invaluable experience advising on a wide range of HR processes and procedures, as well as Employment Law, for over 30,000 clients across various sectors.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing reliable and commercially focused HR advice to clients via phone, tackling general to complex queries with ease. They will also have the opportunity to participate in an excellent training programme and potentially gain a part-postgraduate qualification.

This could be the ideal chance for individuals with a HR qualification or relevant experience to expand their knowledge and skills, furthering their HR career in an award-winning organisation that has been recognised as one of the 'Best Places to Work'. Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering high-quality advice to clients in a productive manner, often via phone calls, to provide efficient solutions.
  • Handling a variety of client calls related to HR issues and queries, including absence management, grievances, and disciplinaries.
  • Providing supporting information/documentation to assist clients in implementing advice/solutions.
  • Utilising expert HR and employment law knowledge to develop clear answers for clients.
  • Reviewing client documentation and offering advice while considering applicable internal terms and conditions.
  • Maintaining timely delivery of advice according to service level agreements (SLAs).

We are seeking an individual with good employment law knowledge, preferably gained through studies or work experience. A CIPD qualification or equivalent experience is desirable, along with previous experience working in KPI/target-driven environments, ideally in shared service centres. Additionally, candidates should possess excellent communication skills and be able to multitask effectively under pressure.

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
