About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and caring individual to join our team as a Paediatric Dietetic Assistant Practitioner. As a key member of the Paediatric Diabetes team, you will play a vital role in supporting the provision of Nutrition and Dietetic services to children and young people with Type 1 diabetes.

Job Responsibilities
  • Assist in the coordination of insulin pump starts and education to children, young people, and their families in accordance with the British Dietetic Association code of professional conduct for dietetic assistants.
  • Work independently in various settings, including homes, schools, and clinics, to provide support and education to individuals or groups.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including paediatricians, nurses, and psychologists, to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
Requirements
  • 5 GCSEs or equivalent qualification
  • Numeracy and literacy skills

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum
