About the Role:

The successful candidate will lead service development, driven by best practice, up to date research as well as national standards and policies. This role is focused on assessing, planning, and delivering individual and group dietetic interventions across a variety of community, outpatient, hospital and group settings.

As a specialist in nutrition and dietetics, you will work alongside the older adult multidisciplinary team of nurses, occupational therapists, psychologists, speech therapists and psychiatrists. You will contribute to the assessment and care of older adults at different stages of their mental health difficulties including individual, group, community and specialist older adult ward in-patient care.

We are looking for an experienced professional with a BSc in Nutrition and Dietetics, HCPC registration, and post graduate qualification. The ideal candidate will have clinical experience of working with people with mental health conditions, demonstrating good knowledge of, and ability to apply, evidence base in relation to dietetic practice.

  • Provide education, training and expert support to develop the diet and nutrition knowledge and skills of staff.">

Salary Information:

The salary for this position is estimated to be £40,000-£60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
