Job Overview

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is £16,578.90 to £19,189.95 per annum, based on working five days a week for a full school year. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer:

Job Responsibilities

As a Learning Support Professional, your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Working closely with the Year 1 teacher to deliver lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
  2. Providing one-to-one and small group support to help pupils reach their learning goals.
  3. Assisting with classroom organization, preparation of resources, and ensuring a smooth learning experience.
  4. Fostering positive relationships with pupils, encouraging confidence and engagement.
  5. Monitoring and supporting pupils' social, emotional, and academic development.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in a UK school, ideally in a primary school setting.
  • Knowledge of the National Curriculum and Key Stage 1 (KS1).
  • A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A positive and proactive attitude towards supporting children's education.
