Job Title: Dedicated Nurture Professional - Special Educational Needs (SEN)

Location: Gloucester

Salary: £18,000 - £25,000 per annum

We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Nurture Teacher to support children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of various SEND needs, including Autism.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create a bespoke curriculum to meet the diverse learning requirements of each student.
  • Utilize a range of teaching strategies and resources to engage students with Autism and foster a positive learning environment.
  • Collaborate closely with other educators, support staff, and external professionals to develop comprehensive support plans and interventions for students with complex needs.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (QTLS).
  • Comprehensive understanding of a variety of SEND needs, including complex and Autism, and the ability to adapt teaching approaches accordingly.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and a passion for inclusive education.
