Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Learning and Development Assistant to join our team of specialist schools in Gloucester & Cheltenham. As a key member of our support staff, you will work closely with teachers and other professionals to provide high-quality learning experiences for students aged 5-16.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support teachers with lesson planning and delivery
  • Develop and maintain relationships with students, parents, and school staff
  • Provide individualized support to students with special educational needs
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment

Requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Education or related field
  • Experience working with children with special educational needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team

Working Conditions: The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with regular contact with students, parents, and school staff. A driving license and access to a vehicle may be beneficial but is not essential.

Salary and Benefits: £20,000 - £25,000 per annum, depending on experience. Generous holiday entitlement and pension scheme.
