About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children's Support Worker to join our team at Caremark Rotherham & Sheffield. As a key member of our support team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the wellbeing, development, and care of our clients who live within the community.

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children with physical and learning disabilities, complex and clinical needs. You will be responsible for supporting our clients to lead an independent life, promoting their mental and physical health, and enabling them to achieve their personal goals and aspirations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support children with physical and learning disabilities, complex and clinical needs to lead an independent life.
  • Assist with daily living activities such as personal care, nutrition, and hydration needs.
  • Enable clients to achieve their personal goals and aspirations through one-to-one or two-to-one support.
  • Work collaboratively with other professionals involved in the client's support to ensure a holistic approach to care.
  • Adhere to all Caremark policies and procedures at all times.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience supporting children with physical and learning disabilities.
  • Experience working in the care sector.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including alternate weekends.
  • Reliability, punctuality, and a commitment to providing high-quality care.
