About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children's Support Worker to join our team at Caremark Rotherham & Sheffield. As a key member of our community care team, you will play a vital role in supporting children and young adults with their daily needs, promoting their independence, and enhancing their overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide one-to-one or two-to-one support to children and young adults in various settings, including schools, colleges, and the community.
  • Assist with personal care, mobility, and physical disabilities, including incontinence and the use of personal aids and equipment.
  • Support clients with complex health conditions, such as tracheostomy care and PEG care.
  • Encourage mental and physical activities through talking, outings, reading, writing, hobbies, and recreations.
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members to meet the personal care and support needs of clients.
Requirements
  • Experience supporting children and young adults in a care and support environment.
  • Ability to work alternate weekends and flexible hours, including days and nights.
  • Flexibility to adapt to the unique needs of each client.
  • Passion for working with children and young people and a commitment to making a positive impact on their lives.
