Job Title: Children Registered Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Children Registered Manager to lead our residential childcare team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care and compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the delivery of high-quality care and support to children and young people
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices in children's residential care
  • Manage and motivate a team of care staff to provide a safe and nurturing environment
  • Develop and implement effective care plans to meet the needs of children with Emotional and Behavioral Difficulties (EBD) and Learning Disabilities (LD)
  • Collaborate with colleagues and other professionals to promote equal opportunities and support the development of children and young people
Requirements:
  • NVQ Level 4 in Caring for Children & Young People (or equivalent qualification)
  • At least 2 years of experience in residential child care within the last 5 years
  • Minimum 1 year of experience supervising and managing care staff
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England) or an equivalent qualification
  • In-depth knowledge of quality care standards and children's regulations
  • Understanding of the needs of children with Emotional and Behavioral Difficulties (EBD) and Learning Disabilities (LD), including experience in managing challenging behavior
  • Full UK driving license
