Job Overview

The role of Plant Fitter is a key position within our client's team, responsible for the maintenance and repair of various plant equipment. Located in Canterbury, this Full-time, Permanent opportunity comes with an attractive salary package.

About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Plant Engineer to join our growing team. As a Plant Fitter, you will be working on-site, covering the Kent area, and ensuring that all plant equipment is well-maintained and running efficiently. Your expertise in hydraulics, mechanical, and electrical capabilities will be essential in troubleshooting and repairing complex issues. Additionally, you will need to maintain up-to-date knowledge of products and accessories, complete test certificates, and adhere to customer Health & Safety rules.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have previous experience working in the Plant industry, specifically with hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems. You should also possess electrical and/or mechanical fault-finding, repair, and service experience. Relevant qualifications or certifications will be highly regarded.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this position is £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience. The package includes 21 days annual leave plus public holidays (28 Days), a pension scheme, and opportunities for overtime due to the high workload. A company van and fuel card will be provided.
