Forklift Sales Account Specialist

**Job Description:** We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven sales professional to join our team as a Forklift Sales Account Specialist. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in sales and marketing, with a strong background in fork lift sales/rental/material handling or rental hire.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing the annual Key Account Sales plan, developing and maintaining long-term contract rentals/sales, and building strong customer relationships with the Key Accounts. They will also be responsible for budget and forecasting management, developing potential within Key Accounts, and maintaining commercial policy.
In addition to their sales expertise, the successful candidate will have a degree/diploma in sales and marketing or a related field, and a valid driver's license. They will be willing to travel extensively throughout the Northern KZN region and reside in Newcastle.
**Responsibilities Include:**
- Secure the revenue stream of the business by executing the annual Key Account Sales plan
- Develop and maintain Long Term Contract rentals/sales
- Develop and maintain 'Service Level Agreements'
- Budget and forecasting management: Forecast Key Account stock requirements, deliver Turnover in line with or in excess of the Key Accounts Budgets
- Develop potential within Key Accounts: Convert key prospects who have strategic importance or offer valuable business potential, maximize strategic potential within the Key Accounts by utilizing National Service Network
- Maintain commercial policy: Implement National and Regional Key Account Customer pricing and service level strategies, manage the customer relationships in an appropriate manner relative to their status, ensure credit management criteria of the business is adhered to
- Customer relationship management: Build strong customer relationships with the Key Accounts, oversee call cycles to ensure Key Accounts receive premium customer service
- Develop market intelligence and translate into market needs: Drive product and service expansion opportunities, identify opposition threats and implement strategy to neutralize
- General Management: Generate monthly reports regarding the performance of Key Accounts, gather and distribute strategic account information to relevant managers, keep in regular contact with the Sales Consultants to ensure service levels are received
