About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to work with pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a small Secondary Academy in Grantham. The successful candidate will have a strong background in supporting pupils with challenging behaviour and complex needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting pupils with SEN on a one-to-one basis
  • Working with challenging behaviour and complex needs
  • Providing physical interventions and Positive Behaviour Support
  • Collaborating with the teaching team to develop individualised education plans
Requirements
  • Experience of supporting pupils with SEN in a school or similar setting
  • Confidence in working with challenging behaviour
  • Ability to provide personal care
  • Current DBS on the update service or willingness to provide a new one
  • Ability to commute to Grantham
