About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team at a Secondary Academy in Grantham. The successful candidate will work on a one-to-one basis with pupils, providing support and guidance to help them achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a mainstream and SEN setting
  • Provide personal care and assistance as required
  • Work with challenging behaviour and develop strategies to manage it
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to ensure a cohesive and effective learning environment

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Experience of supporting pupils with SEN in a mainstream or SEN setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
