Senior Kitchen Assistant

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Kitchen Assistant to join our Catering team at BLW Recruitment LTD. The successful candidate will work closely with the Head Chef/Sous Chef to ensure the smooth running of the kitchen, overseeing food production and directing chefs/catering staff within their section.
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Chef/Sous Chef in the daily operational needs of the department.
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation of meals.
- Direct and motivate chefs/catering staff within your section.
Requirements:
- Relevant culinary qualifications or equivalent experience.
- Proven track record of working in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
