Executive Director of Financial Literacy

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Director to lead our Financial Literacy and Inclusion Campaign (FLIC). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving the strategic direction of FLIC, ensuring the delivery of our programmes and services, and building strong relationships with our stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement the strategic plan for FLIC, aligning with the Financial Times' mission and values.
- Lead the development and delivery of our programmes and services, ensuring they meet the needs of our beneficiaries and stakeholders.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with our stakeholders, including trustees, staff, volunteers, and external partners.
- Oversee the management of our finances, ensuring the effective use of resources and the achievement of our financial targets.
- Develop and implement a fundraising strategy, securing new income streams and building relationships with donors and supporters.
- Lead the development and implementation of our policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with our team to ensure the effective delivery of our programmes and services, and to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Extensive experience in a senior leadership role, preferably in a social-purpose organisation.
- Proven track record of fundraising and income generation, including experience of working with trusts, foundations, and corporate partners.
- Strong understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing our beneficiaries and stakeholders.
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, including trustees, staff, volunteers, and external partners.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritising tasks and managing multiple projects.
We offer a competitive salary of £80,000, plus a generous pension scheme and benefits package. You will also have the opportunity to work with a talented team of professionals, contributing to the delivery of our programmes and services and making a real difference in the lives of our beneficiaries.
Hybrid working arrangement, with three days per week in our office in St. Paul's, Central London, and remote working for the remaining days. Reporting to the Board of Trustees, chaired by Financial Times Deputy Editor. Closing date: April 9th 2024.
