Executive Director of Financial Literacy

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Executive Director to lead our Financial Literacy and Inclusion Campaign (FLIC). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving the strategic direction of FLIC, managing our partnerships and fundraising efforts, and overseeing the development and implementation of our programmes.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a comprehensive strategic plan for FLIC, aligning with our mission and goals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including trustees, staff, educators, volunteers, and communities.
- Oversee the development and implementation of our programmes, including our financial literacy curriculum and adult learning strategy.
- Manage and coordinate our fundraising efforts, including grant applications, corporate partnerships, and major donor stewardship.
- Ensure the effective management of our resources, including budgeting, financial reporting, and risk management.
- Collaborate with our team to enhance our operational excellence, including policy development, process improvement, and staff development.
- Represent FLIC at external events, conferences, and meetings, promoting our work and building our reputation.
- Provide regular progress reports to our trustees, ensuring transparency and accountability.
- Extensive experience in a strategic-level role within a social-purpose organisation, with a proven track record of growth and evaluation.
- Strong fundraising experience, including trust, foundation, and corporate partnerships.
- Deep understanding of the challenges of financial literacy and inclusion, with a nuanced understanding of the impact of our work.
- Ability to balance high-quality day-to-day performance with the identification and management of medium-term strategic risks and opportunities.
- Clear and compelling communication skills, with the ability to engage and align diverse stakeholders.
- Resilience and determination to uphold highest quality standards in the face of challenges.
