Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Youth Residential Worker to join our team at Chase Medical. As a Senior Residential Care Worker, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care and support to children and young adults with complex needs.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in health and social care, specifically working with vulnerable youth. You will work closely with our experienced team to develop and implement personalized care plans that cater to the unique needs of each individual.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality care and support to children and young adults with complex needs
  • Implement personalized care plans and collaborate with the team to ensure effective delivery
  • Assist with day-to-day activities, including leisure interests and skill development
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Conduct risk assessments and reviews to ensure the safety and well-being of residents
  • Participate in shift planning and delegation of tasks to ensure efficient operations

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • NVQ Level 4 Health & Social Care (Children & Young People) or QCF Level 4 Children, Young People & Families Practitioner qualification
  • Experience working with vulnerable youth and their families
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
