Our mission is to enable the UK's largest gas distribution network to achieve long-term value for consumers. We achieve this through a best-in-class operating model, digital transformation, and innovative solutions in process efficiency.
Our Streetworks Coordinator will play a key role in our street works team, reporting to the Streetworks Manager. The successful candidate will assist in the delivery of business goals by submitting permits to local authorities and managing the day-to-day running of permits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Submit permits to local authorities
- Collate and distribute start and closure reports via email
- Chase LDPs on due starts, closures, or possible extensions
- Collate and distribute comments and challenges reports via email
- Submit variations to permits via SAP
- Upload documents to Street Manager
- Attend planning meetings as necessary
- Collaborate with other coordinators to share insights and best practices
- Liaise with Local Authorities and LDPs
Person Specification:
- Good level of general education
- Previous experience in similar roles or organisations
- Genuine interest in Streetworks and the utility industry
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work well within a team
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage workload and establish priorities
- Strong decision-making skills in high-pressure situations
- Self-motivated and able to learn quickly
- Strong attention to detail with high levels of accuracy
- Willingness to undertake further training as required
