We're seeking a skilled Compensation Analyst to join our Casualty team. This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy working with data and want to make a meaningful impact on our organization's financial decisions.

Job Summary

The Compensation Analyst will be responsible for investigating and settling insurance claims, providing quality service, and ensuring prompt and equitable settlements in line with corporate policies and standards.

Main Responsibilities
  • Analyze and interpret insurance policy wording to determine coverage and assess entitlements which are fair and equitable.
  • Communicate in a timely and respectful manner with the customer, claimants, lawyers, and insurers to settle claims and report findings and settlements.
  • Conduct investigations and identify additional information such as independent medical examinations, customers' medical or employment history required to clarify and/or justify a claim.
Requirements
  • A university degree or any combination of training and experience deemed relevant for the role.
  • 2+ years of experience in handling Casualty claims.
  • Ability to handle or oversee moderate to complex claims.
  • Bilingualism (English/French) is considered an asset.
