About Sustrans

Sustrans is a leading charity that has invested heavily in e-commerce to increase sales through its online shop.

As the E-Commerce Manager, you will play a critical role in maximising revenue by optimising the martech stack, improving audience insights, and promoting products through digital and offline marketing channels.

You will work closely with the Fundraising and Supporter Engagement team, including Supporter Engagement and Giving, Strategic Communications, Finance, and external agencies and suppliers.

As a line manager, you will be responsible for two part-time colleagues, the E-Commerce Promotions Officer and the E-Commerce Products Officer.

We offer a true hybrid working environment, allowing you to balance working from home with occasional travel to a nearby office hub.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with Sustrans and contribute to the growth of its e-commerce strategy.

You will have the chance to develop and implement innovative solutions to drive online sales, improve customer experience, and increase loyalty.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Optimising the martech stack to improve customer insights and enhance e-commerce experiences
  • Developing and implementing effective digital and offline marketing strategies
  • Working closely with the Fundraising and Supporter Engagement team to achieve revenue growth
  • Line managing two part-time colleagues, the E-Commerce Promotions Officer and the E-Commerce Products Officer

About You

We are looking for an experienced E-Commerce Manager who has a proven track record of leading, motivating, and managing teams.

You will have demonstrable experience of working in e-commerce, preferably in cycling or outdoor industries, and have a strong understanding of Shopify, website content management systems, and integrations with Facebook and Amazon.

You will be skilled in project delivery, data analysis, and interpretation, and have experience of using paid and organic channels, including SEO.
