About Our School

Our SEMH School in Upminster is dedicated to providing a nurturing and inclusive environment that promotes resilience and mutual respect. We are committed to helping our students develop into confident and capable young adults who are prepared to make positive contributions to society.

What We're Looking For

We are seeking Learning Support Assistants who are creative, dynamic, and committed to making a lasting impact in the lives of students. We welcome applications from graduates with backgrounds in Sports, Psychology, Criminology, or Drama, as these skills are highly transferable to SEMH environments.

We are looking for individuals who possess a strong passion for supporting students with additional needs, as well as the ability to manage challenging behaviour in a constructive manner. A valid DBS registration with the online update service or a willingness to apply for a new one is also required.

We offer competitive rates of pay based on experience and a streamlined clearance process, with most steps accessible online. Our school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare and safety of children and young people, and successful candidates will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check and provide two professional references covering at least the last two years.
