We are seeking a highly skilled Trauma Rehabilitation Specialist to join our team at University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to make a real difference in the lives of patients with traumatic injuries.

About the Role

You will work closely with major trauma practitioners, multidisciplinary teams, and operational teams to ensure comprehensive data systems are in place to provide informatics on rehabilitation activity. Key responsibilities include:

  • Organizing and managing the complex care and rehabilitation pathways for major trauma patients.
  • Innovating and implementing service development projects.
  • Identifying and supporting the ongoing specialist rehabilitation needs of major trauma patients from early admission through post-discharge follow-up.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree-level qualification with HCPC or NMC registration.
  • Evidence of relevant post-graduate training in rehabilitation.
  • Evidence of audit and quality improvement experience.
  • A proven ability to assess patients with high complex needs, including significant neurological needs.

We offer a competitive salary of £40,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
