Job Title: Lead OT and Therapies Director

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead OT and Therapies Director to join our team at JustOT in southwest London. As a senior leader in occupational therapy, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our organization and delivering exceptional patient care.

Estimated Salary: £60,000 per annum

About the Role

The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership to our occupational therapy services, working closely with our Unit Manager and Clinical Lead Nurses. As Lead OT and Therapies Director, you will develop and implement strategies to drive excellence in our Therapies Department, aligning with our company's overall vision and transformation program.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement effective change management processes to achieve accreditation as a Level-2 service provider and support palliative care standards.
  2. Oversee the delivery of evidence-based clinical services, including financial management and admissions pathways.
  3. Provide leadership to our Therapies team, working collaboratively with clinicians to design and deliver high-quality services.
  4. Contribute to external publications, such as fundraising bids and media articles, showcasing our organization's commitment to excellence.
  5. Continuously review and improve our services, working with colleagues to redesign and optimize patient-centered care.
  6. Establish and monitor UKROC reporting systems, ensuring timely data collection and analysis to inform capacity planning and productivity.
  7. Manage departmental budgets, ensuring cost-effective delivery of rehabilitation opportunities.
  8. Line-manage teams of Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech & Language Therapy, and Psychology professionals, promoting staff development and growth.
  9. Evidence continuing professional development and stay up-to-date with rehabilitative medicine and neurology advancements.
  10. Prior experience in leading mixed-discipline therapeutic teams and supervising, appraising, training, and coaching staff is highly desirable.
  11. Excellent computer literacy and proficiency in word-processing, spreadsheets, databases, and email software.
