Responsibilities

As a Domestic Abuse Practitioner (Early Help), you will be responsible for:

  • Providing comprehensive support to children, young people, and their families affected by domestic abuse.
  • Developing and implementing tailored support plans, ensuring seamless coordination with other services.
  • Fostering strong relationships with local partners, schools, and community organizations to promote collaborative working.
  • Conducting risk assessments and providing proactive interventions to prevent further harm.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A good understanding of safeguarding principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working with vulnerable populations, particularly those affected by domestic abuse.
  • A strong ability to develop and implement effective support plans.
  • Knowledge of local agencies and community groups, with a proven track record of building partnerships.

Salary Information

The salary for this position is £29,139.08 per annum, dependent on experience and qualifications. In addition to your salary, you can expect a range of benefits, including professional development opportunities and a supportive work environment.
