Major Recruitment Watford is seeking an experienced HR Manager to join our vibrant food manufacturer in Burton on Trent.

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and developing employee performance to the highest possible standards, ensuring legal compliance with all appropriate regulations and processes. They will also ensure that the site has the appropriate skills and expertise needed to operate effectively by delivering effective resourcing and talent management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Keep abreast of internal and external developments to ensure continuous improvement of Company policies and practices.
  • Manage and develop employee performance to the highest possible standards.
  • Provide coaching on best practices to all managers continually developing leadership abilities and self-awareness.
  • Ensure legal compliance with all appropriate regulations and processes.
  • Ensure that the site is strengthened by appropriate and considered recruitment and successful appointments.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have experience working within the food industry as a HR professional, managerial skills, and ability to lead a HR team. They should also be able to provide coaching on best practices to all managers.
