Our client, SGS Care Ltd, is a well-established organization offering a range of children's services across the Midlands and North of England. We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Team Leader to join our Children's Residential Home in Children's Residential Care.

About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced professional to play a crucial role in supporting children and young people aged 6 to 17 who have experienced early life trauma, neglect, or abuse. As a Team Leader, you will oversee shifts with Residential Support Workers, manage risks in accordance with company policies and procedures, and stay informed on current legislation.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan and oversee shifts with Residential Support Workers
  • Manage risks in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Stay informed on current legislation, such as the Children's Homes Regulations 2015

You will work closely with our team to provide high-quality care and support to our service users. If you have a passion for supporting children and young people and a commitment to their development, we encourage you to apply.

Requirements:
  • A Level 3 Diploma in Residential Child Care or equivalent qualification
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience in children's or young adults' residential care within the last 5 years
  • A full manual driving licence
  • A passion for supporting children and young people and a commitment to their development
  • Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development
