We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Senior Geriatric Medicine Specialist to join our team at Lymington Hospital.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a geriatrician who enjoys hands-on work and collaboration with colleagues in primary, secondary, and intermediate care. The role involves contributing to admission prevention, virtual wards, proactive community services for older people living with frailty, advance care planning, and end-of-life care.

Main Responsibilities
  • Providing expert clinical opinion across a wide range of problems within General Internal Medicine and Geriatric Medicine
  • Taking full and independent responsibility for the care of patients

Key Qualifications and Experience
  • MBBS or equivalent qualification
  • MRCP or equivalent qualification
  • Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) with a licence to practice
  • Entry on Specialist Register in Geriatric Medicine
  • Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in Geriatric Medicine or completion within 12 months of award by date of interview
Estimated Salary: £80,000 - £110,000 per annum
