Located in Lymington, Hampshire, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Physician to join our team at the prestigious Lymington Hospital. As part of our dynamic acute medical rota, you will provide exceptional patient care, working closely with a committed and collaborative consultant medical team.

Main Duties:

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for providing inpatient care to patients admitted during their on-call periods, averaging 8 patients per 24-hour period.
  • Working as part of a 2-team structure, with 10 trainees split between the two teams, and an allocated FY1 doctor to each team.
  • Sharing on-call inpatient work on the Medical Admissions Unit (MAU) with junior doctors, supporting the acute medical intake and reviewing any medical admissions overnight.

We offer a competitive salary, estimated at £80,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience. This reflects the high level of expertise required for this role and the significant impact our Senior Physicians have on patient outcomes.
