We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Eye Care Specialist to join our team at Optical Express in Carlisle. As an optometrist, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care and outstanding clinical outcomes.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team alongside experienced eye care professionals, including ophthalmologists, and be involved in a diverse range of clinical eye care services.

Your responsibilities will include providing pre and post-operative consultations for refractive and cataract surgery patients, providing clinical support to ophthalmologists, and conducting Essential and Advanced Eye examinations for patients.

We offer a competitive salary up to £70,000 per annum, with opportunities for salary enhancement through our Performance Pay scheme. Our benefits package includes 33 days annual leave per year, increasing with length of service, pension scheme, private healthcare, paid professional fees, indemnity coverage, independent prescribing sponsorship, and access to CET courses.

We provide flexible working patterns to suit your lifestyle, including longer hours across fewer days and patterns that support family or lifestyle commitments. Relocation allowances are also available.

As a member of our team, you will have access to state-of-the-art diagnostic and treatment technologies from leading manufacturers such as Carl Zeiss and Johnson & Johnson Vision. You will also receive full training in refractive and cataract surgery and have the opportunity to work alongside an exceptional professional team and gain invaluable guidance from the Clinical Services team.
