About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Play Leader to join our team at Mytime Active. As a Play Leader, you will be responsible for leading and managing our play services, ensuring the highest standards of childcare and customer service are maintained.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage play services, ensuring the highest standards of childcare and customer service are maintained.
  • Develop and implement new play programmes and activities, ensuring they are engaging and safe for children.
  • Manage and supervise a team of play staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they are equipped to deliver high-quality play services.
  • Ensure all play services are delivered in accordance with Mytime Active's policies and procedures, including health and safety, safeguarding, and quality assurance.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with parents, carers, and other stakeholders to ensure the needs of children and families are met.
Requirements
  • Level 3 or above Childcare/Play work relevant Qualification.
  • Experience of leading and managing play services, including developing and implementing new programmes and activities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, parents, carers, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of the service.
