Childcare Deputy Leader - Beckenham

Mytime Active is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Childcare Deputy Leader to join our afterschool club teams in Beckenham. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing a safe and secure environment for children to learn and develop through various play opportunities.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Deputise for the Childcare Leader in their absence and ensure the day-to-day operational efficiency of the team is of the highest quality and fully compliant with relevant rules and regulations.
  • Use your skills and experience to provide a caring and secure environment for children to learn and develop through a variety of play opportunities.
  • Take on specific responsibilities relating to the specialist age group you are working with and have knowledge of child development, OFSTED, and Safeguarding.
  • Administer first aid when necessary and be responsible for ensuring all records of accidents and incidents are correctly logged, stored, and monitored.
Requirements:
  • Level 2 or 3 childcare/play work relevant qualification.
  • Food Hygiene certificate, Paediatric First Aid, and Safeguarding Children qualifications are desirable.
