About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Play Team Leader to join our team at Mytime Active. As a Play Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading our play team and ensuring the delivery of high-quality childcare services to our customers.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To be the Designated Safeguarding Officer and ensure suitable child protection training is sourced and delivered to staff.
  • Accountable for all children and employees within the setting, ensuring that agreed child: staff ratios are always met.
  • Effectively communicating with key people involved in the delivery of the service and the children's wellbeing, including parents, teachers, and Ofsted.
  • Undertake appropriate training and adhere to company policy and procedures, assisting with the updating and developing of relevant policies and procedures.
  • To ensure all children have a designated key worker and a personal file.
  • Ensure the children receive a choice of healthy refreshments whilst maintaining hygiene, health and safety standards at all times.
  • Accountable for all administration tasks required, including record keeping, staff and child records, data logs, ordering and purchasing.
  • Administering first aid when necessary and being responsible for ensuring all records of accidents and incidents are correctly logged, stored and monitored.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 or above Childcare/Play work relevant Qualification.
