Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Care Worker to join our team at iPeople Solutions in London and surrounding areas.

The ideal candidate will provide support with personal care, domiciliary care, and shopping for service users, ensuring their independence and well-being.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Assist service users with personal care activities, including bathing, dressing, and feeding.
  2. Provide companionship and emotional support to service users, promoting their physical and mental health.
  3. Help service users maintain a healthy diet by preparing meals and assisting with eating.
  4. Administer medication as required, following established protocols and guidelines.
  5. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
  6. Maintain accurate records of service user progress and any ongoing issues.
  7. Arrange and accompany service users to appointments, ensuring timely arrival and departure.
  8. Support service users with their shopping needs, promoting independence and autonomy.
Requirements:
  1. An Enhanced DBS Check on the update service is mandatory for this position.
  2. Previous experience in care settings, preferably within dementia environments.
  3. A minimum of 5 years' worth of work references.
  4. Social care qualifications such as a Level 2 or 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care.

Working hours: Various shifts available between 07.00 Monday – Sunday.

The estimated salary for this position is £22,000 - £27,000 per annum, depending on experience.
