Job Description:

At Federal Management System, Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Risk and Governance Expert to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to lead our risk management and compliance initiatives.

About the Role:

  • We are looking for a motivated and experienced professional with a strong background in risk management and compliance to oversee our global risk register and ensure effective implementation of our governance model.
  • The ideal candidate will have prior experience in retail or FMCG and large corporate sectors, with a proven track record of working in/leading a compliance, internal control, and/or risk/governance department.
  • They will be responsible for chairing the quarterly Risk Management Committee and suggesting risk mitigation actions and strategies, as well as proactively identifying opportunities to improve overall risk monitoring, mitigation, and management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Risk: Own and manage the global risk register, chair the quarterly Risk Management Committee, and suggest risk mitigation actions and strategies.
  • Compliance: Chair the Charlotte Tilbury Governance & Compliance Committee, shape the vision and direction for the compliance model, and support the business teams with new market launches.
  • Ethics: Promote and manage the group's Reporting Channel and Protect the Magic/Speak Up culture.
  • Insurance: Maintain and manage the group's global insurance program, building a day-to-day working relationship with the group's global insurance brokers.

Requirements:

  • A solid track record of working in/leading a compliance, internal control, and/or risk/governance department.
  • Prior experience in retail or FMCG and large corporate sectors.
  • Highly effective communication skills at all levels, with excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Capability to adapt to changing priorities inline with business and organisational needs.
  • High levels of professional resilience and flexibility.
