In London, our Building Services team is seeking an experienced Shift Lead to join their on-site team at one of their ongoing projects.


The role involves supervising a team working shifts and providing technical expertise while demonstrating strong leadership skills. Key responsibilities include planning and executing maintenance tasks, testing, repairs, and new installations across various equipment, services, systems, and buildings within a large hospital.



Job Responsibilities:

  • Supervise Maintenance Team: Collaborate with Estates Management to provide a 24-hour maintenance service at the LRH, ensuring all planned work is completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Maintenance Planning and Execution: Oversee daily operations, managing manpower, resources, and materials to minimize inconvenience and disruption during maintenance activities.
  • Subcontractor Management: Direct specialist subcontractors on site, ensuring compliance with Skanska rules and regulations, including inductions, PPE use, risk assessments, and method statements.
