Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Anaesthetist to join our team at The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust. As a key member of our anaesthesia department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality anaesthetic services to our patients.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective anaesthesia strategies to improve patient outcomes
  • Collaborate with other medical professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives to drive excellence in anaesthesia
  • Provide educational and training opportunities for junior staff
  • Contribute to the development of perioperative medicine services within the trust

Requirements
  • Full registration with the GMC and a licence to practise
  • FRCA or equivalent qualification
  • CCT (or equivalent) with entry on the Specialist Register for Anaesthesia
  • Advanced training in perioperative medicine or equivalent
