About the Role

The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Anaesthetist to join our team. As a key member of our anaesthetic department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality anaesthetic services to patients at The Princess Alexandra Hospital in Harlow.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide anaesthetic services to patients, including pre-operative assessment, anaesthesia, and post-operative care.
  • Work collaboratively with other consultants and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Develop and implement new anaesthetic services and protocols to improve patient outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development of the anaesthetic department and participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Full registration with the GMC with licence to practise.
  • FRCA or equivalent/CCT (or equivalent) with entry on Specialist Register for Anaesthesia.
  • Experience in Ophthalmology Anaesthesia is an advantage.
