About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced F&B Chief Steward to join our team at The Edwardian Manchester Hotel, A Radisson Collection Hotel. As a key member of our back of house operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of our food and beverage services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the cleanliness and organization of all back of house areas, including storage and inventory management.
  • Ensure that all food and beverage stock is properly received, stored, and rotated to maintain quality and freshness.
  • Assist in the training and development of food and beverage stewards, providing feedback and coaching to improve performance.
  • Identify and address any health and safety concerns or issues in the back of house area.
  • Collaborate with the back of house manager to develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency and productivity.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel or restaurant environment.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and health and safety procedures.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Health and safety qualifications at a minimum CIEH Level Two.
