Job Title: F&B Chief Steward

We are currently seeking an experienced F&B Chief Steward to join our team at The Edwardian Manchester Hotel. As a key member of our back of house team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food and beverage services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of all back of house areas, including storage and inventory management.
  • Supervise and train Food and Beverage Stewards to ensure they are equipped to provide excellent service to our guests.
  • Assist with the receipt and inspection of goods, ensuring that all items are accurately received and stored.
  • Identify and address any health and safety concerns, working closely with the Back of House Manager to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Support the development of our team members, providing feedback and coaching to help them grow and succeed in their roles.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel or restaurant environment.
  • Proven ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety procedures and regulations, with a minimum of CIEH Level Two qualification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and guests.
