Job Title: SEN Teacher

We are seeking an experienced and passionate SEN Teacher to work in specialist schools across Blackburn and Darwen.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teacher to support students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in our partner schools.

  • Create tailored lesson plans that cater to individual learning styles and abilities.
  • Develop a supportive classroom environment that fosters academic growth, emotional well-being, and positive behavior.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create and implement individualized Education Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
  • Maintain open communication channels with parents, guardians, and external professionals involved in student care and education.
  • Stay updated on the latest educational practices, policies, and developments in special educational needs.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated daily rate for this position is £175 per day, dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. Our agency offers a range of benefits, including:

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
  • Have specialization or experience in teaching students with SEND.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of various learning difficulties, such as autism spectrum disorders, dyslexia, ADHD, and speech and language impairments.
  • Possess strong knowledge of teaching strategies, interventions, and resources for SEND students.
