Teaching Role for SEN Specialists

Vision for Education - Preston is seeking a qualified SEN Specialist to teach students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in specialist schools across Blackburn and Darwen.

About the Teaching Role

This teaching position offers an opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in supporting students with SEND while making a positive impact on their lives.

  • You will create personalized lesson plans that cater to individual students' learning styles and abilities.
  • Establish a supportive classroom environment that promotes academic growth, emotional well-being, and positive behavior.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement EHCPs.
  • Maintain effective communication with parents, guardians, and external professionals involved in student care and education.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest educational practices, policies, and developments in special educational needs.
About the Salary and Benefits

The estimated daily rate for this position is £180 per day, based on experience, training, or qualifications. Our agency offers a range of benefits, including:

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
  • Have specialization or experience in teaching students with SEND.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of various learning difficulties, such as autism spectrum disorders, dyslexia, ADHD, and speech and language impairments.
  • Possess strong knowledge of teaching strategies, interventions, and resources for SEND students.
