Teaching Opportunity in Hackney

We are seeking a skilled Drama Teacher to join our vibrant secondary school in Hackney. As a Drama Teacher, you will inspire students with your passion for the performing arts and create a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach drama lessons to students across various year groups, fostering a love for the performing arts.
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons, incorporating a range of drama techniques and activities.
  • Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Organize and direct school plays and drama productions, promoting student participation and creativity.
  • Participate in school events and extracurricular activities, enhancing the learning experience.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
  • Strong knowledge of drama and the performing arts curriculum.
  • Experience in teaching BTEC Performing Arts is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
  • Commitment to creating a safe and inclusive learning environment.
