Job Title: Drama Teacher

We are seeking a passionate and creative Drama Teacher to join our vibrant secondary school in Hackney. As a Drama Teacher, you will inspire students with your love for the performing arts and foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Teach KS3/KS4 drama lessons to students across various year groups.
  • Plan and deliver engaging drama lessons that cater to diverse learning styles.
  • Develop and implement curriculum plans that meet the needs of all students.
  • Organize and direct school plays and drama productions that showcase student talent.
  • Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Participate in school events and extracurricular activities to enhance the learning experience.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
  • Strong knowledge of drama and the performing arts curriculum.
  • Experience in teaching BTEC Performing Arts is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
  • Commitment to creating a safe and inclusive learning environment.
