Job Opportunity: Financial Controller

We're seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to support our growing team. Based in Ipswich, this position involves close collaboration with the Finance Director and senior stakeholders.

Your role will encompass financial management, reporting, compliance, and team development, as well as support for acquisitions and investments.

  • Manage month-end and year-end close processes and prepare detailed management reports.
  • Oversee audit processes, group IFRS accounting policies, and compliance standards to ensure accuracy and transparency.
  • Produce quarterly, half-year, and annual reports, communicating insights to stakeholders and driving informed decision-making.
  • Lead internal controls and streamline accounting processes to improve efficiency and reduce risk.
  • Process and manage payroll, VAT returns, and coordinate with advisors for compliance, ensuring seamless operations.
  • Develop departmental budgets and provide support for forecasting, enabling data-driven business decisions.
  • Contribute to business plans and acquisitions, including due diligence and integration, leveraging your expertise to drive growth.
  • Oversee treasury processes, FX risk, tax position, and CRM accuracy, maintaining a high level of financial acumen.
  • Line-manage the Accounts Assistant and support recruitment for the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence.

A competitive salary of £62,000 per annum is on offer, along with private healthcare, 25 days annual leave + birthday off, life insurance (6x salary), share options, and a pension plan.
