About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Building Fabric Engineer to join our team at GRAHAM Group. As a key member of our Facilities Management Team, you will play a crucial role in planning and completing a range of works, including planned, reactive, and remedial repairs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work as part of the Graham Facilities Management Team to plan and complete a range of works, with a focus on fire door systems and fire compartmentation.
  • Plan and complete a range of works associated with joinery, tiling, drainage, minor roof repairs, finishes, plastering, flooring, and other building fabric systems.
  • Provide exceptional maintenance services to our high-profile clients, delivering to the highest quality standards in all areas of performance.
  • Use your initiative to solve complicated technical problems associated with reactive maintenance activities, including sourcing parts and materials and seeking manufacturer technical support.
  • Provide detailed write-ups of works carried out to ensure our clients are kept up to date at all times.
  • Carry out all works within agreed timescales and to the highest standards, ensuring compliance with current regulations and contract specifications.
  • Report and record procedures, including operation and maintenance logs and control measures to minimize risks.
  • Liaise closely with our Helpdesk to ensure efficient response to all works, either working on your own or as part of a team.
  • Observe the highest levels of health and safety at all times, including carrying out point of work risk assessments for every task.
  • Deal with a variety of clients on a daily basis, representing the Company and being courteous and professional in your dealings with them at all times.

Location and Working Hours

Swansea University, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.
