Lead Child and Family Practitioner

Ackerman Pierce Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Lead Child and Family Practitioner to join its assessment team in the social care industry within Somerset County Council.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to lead a team of professionals, working together to provide high-quality support to children and families in need. £45,000 - £55,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective strategies to support children and families, promoting their welfare and well-being.
  • Lead a team of professionals, providing guidance and supervision to ensure high-quality care.
  • Collaborate with partner agencies and Children's Services teams to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of services, making recommendations for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory frameworks and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Post-qualifying experience working as a Qualified Social Worker - Assessment Team within the UK Social Care industry.
  • HCPC Registration
  • 5-7 years of post-qualifying experience within the UK Social Care industry
  • Enhanced DBS/CRB (we can obtain for you)
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
